Chapter History

In 1972 The University of North Florida opened its doors to over 2000 students. Thirty-five years later, when Eta Omicron Chapter was installed in 2007 — with 87 charter members — enrollment at North Florida had increased eight-fold to 16,000.

The Eta Omicron Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity was established on April 22, 2007. Over the years, membership has grown, and leadership has blossomed. The chapter continues to grow and evolve by creating a positive atmosphere that truly feels like home to all of its members. 

Eta Omicron is proud of the sisterhood they have built and how they have grown on the UNF campus. The women is this chapter are "Leading Women" within Theta and in other organizations on campus. They take pride in their academics, raising money for CASA, being involved in community service, and supporting the UNF Greek community.
